Transport

Getting around Panama City is easy, with an ubundance or Taxis, Uber and public transport. Tocumen International Airport (PTY) is approximately 16KM from the area where the Atlapa Center is situated, and travel is between 20mins - 1hour, depending on traffic.

Uber & Taxi

  • Quickest Way to get around is by UBER to get from Tocumen airport to the Atlapa Center will cost you approximately $15 - $25 USD
  • A regular Taxi will cost $30 - $35 USD

Public Transport (cheapest option)

To get from Tocumen Airport to the Atlapa Center via Public Transport:
  • Bus from Tocumen Airport → Metro Pedregal
  • When you exit the airport, look for the MetroBus stop outside the terminal (ask security or info desk if unsure — it’s marked).
  • Take Bus E489 (Tocumen → Pedregal).
  • Cost: $0.25 USD Duration: about 15–20 min
 
  • Metro from Pedregal → Vía Argentina
  • At Pedregal Station, take Metro Line 2 (toward San Miguelito).
  • At San Miguelito, transfer to Line 1 (toward Albrook).
  • Ride until Vía Argentina Station — this is the closest metro stop to Atlapa.
  • Cost: $0.35 USD Duration: about 25–30 min

  • Walk or short Uber/taxi from Vía Argentina → Atlapa
  • Walking takes about 25–30 minutes (2.5 km).
  • Or take a short Uber/taxi for about $2–4 USD, which is the easiest option with luggage.
